We are the vaccine for the youth, by not letting them fall into the abyss of ignorance we save are tomorrows. As for today- we hold our officials accountable for their actions slowly weeding out the corrupt. Unfortunately it seems as though we are quickly losing the battle of the sinking ship. Do you think we just don't want to think? How hard is it to read about history, analyze facts, compare opinions and points of view or how difficult can it be to just listen carefully? I worry that our ignorance will lead us to destroy that which so many have fought and died for...freedom, liberty and pursuit of happiness. So much is taken for granted, so much has been forgotten. We are ungrateful and spoiled. I pray that the few who are left that have not yet caught the "ignorance is bliss" disease will triumph in the end. Great post. Enjoy the read very much.
