Much to do has been made over the recently learned news that three “contractors” two off which have been fired, the third on some kind of administrative leave, were caught looking at the passport information of Barrack Obama.
What is the big deal? Is it national security or something? Isn’t there supposed to be something like full disclosure, a vetting process, not only for the government but society as well?
Now I do not claim to be an expert on the information kept at the State Department in regards to an individuals passport, but… if it had something on there that some might consider to be “odd” don’t you think maybe we should be entitled to know about it?
In typical Republican play the nice guy role, Condi Rice is put out in front of the country, a black woman subservient to this black man, and made to apologize for her failures. It plays well in the Arab nations. I’m sure that now they themselves are saying “Hey this guy remembers shari’a law and can keep his women in check- we’re going to like him.”
