La Revolución? Not with today’s pansy Society.

There are many things that people are passionate about. Many causes, beliefs, desires, and miscarriages of justice that people would like to see righted in our country. There are always the talks of the proverbial straw that breaks the camels back.

There is nothing wrong with you liberals wanting your country to do the very best job it can for its citizens. It is a noble desire, but when that desire leads to the eventual collapse of your country then I would say it is past time to reevaluate those desires.

You have heard me preach on this Blog about the personal responsibility needed to ensure that you and your families are taken care of. Not because the country can’t take care of them but rather that the country shouldn’t have to.

With all the liberal programs we have in America as far as handing out “free money” to whom ever thinks that they need it, is it any wonder why we are in a financial crunch that we find ourselves today. It is only going to get worse too as many Americans slip the veil of responsibility for that of entitlements.

DB what are you talking about man?

crying-copy.jpgThis year our political correctness, our greed and our selfish irresponsible behavior (as a Society) have finally done us in. Medicare and Social Security for the first time since their inception will pay out more than it receives. By the year 2017 it will no longer be able to pay out anything, it will be completely bankrupt. If we start today to try and fix the problem this is what we would have to do; increase payroll taxes for mediocre care by about 150%- so if you are currently paying $100 per month, you will need to start paying $250 TODAY! Go ahead and break out the checkbook and send me the money I’ll hold on to it for you. Same thing goes for Social Security only its a mere 60% increase to what you already pay in.

Tightening up the belt doesn’t seem to work when the people holding the purse only wear suspenders. Earmarks, pork barrell spending, entitlement give aways, world grocery store, world pharmacy, world police, word world world…… not to mention, bail outs for banks, corporations and ………. YOU. Oh yes don’t think that this is the fault of “big business”. No no no, you’re not getting off that easy. Making them a scapegoat only make me an enabler for you to continue on your irresponsible behavior that has lead us to this point.

But DB, that’s 2017- not now. And why not get it while you can? I mean if there giving it away shouldn’t we all be in line?

We throw dollar amounts around like it is nothing. How many of you have actually lost your ability to comprehend the amount it cost for just Mediocre Care and Social Welfare Security? I heard a great way to help you understand how much money your ill gotten ways have cost America. 1 million dollars- a dollar a second is 12 days. 1 billion dollars- a dollar a second is 32 years. 1 trillion dollars- a dollar a second is 32,000 years. Do I need to repeat it for the learning impaired?

Okay since you didn’t understand any of that, after all it was just numbers and the government can always protect us and give us what we want….. blah blah blah. Here it is in practical terms. We ended the cold war with Russia because Russia spent all their money trying to out spend the US, right? Do you remember any of that? We forced their economy into collapse, into ruin.

soupline.jpgAfter we had taken out the Russians (domestically) what were the reactions of the people of the old Soviet Union? It was one of desperation. They were standing in lines for bread, lines for meat, lines for potatoes, not going to mention lines for gas, because they didn’t have freaking cars!!!!!

You have made that surreal site of Russia into a reality here in the US. Congrats! Now all we have to do is wait for 9 more years. There is no way of stopping Mediocre Care and Social Welfare Security from collapsing the economy. It is impossible to stop that train wreck! or is it? Only by eliminating some of your precious give away programs including Mediocre care AND Social Welfare Security can the US stave off a total collapse of the economy.

Do you have the guts to take back your country? Do you have what it will take to save our country? Can you lead la revolucion? Can you make the non politically correct decision to say “Enough! Get a job! Support your family! Save for your own retirement! I’m not going to do it anymore!”

Not without having serious fights from all the people standing in line waiting for their chance at the government tit.

Unfortunately, most people lack the confidence, determination and courage to live a life of greatness as you describe. With the exception of very few people like the “really disabled” I absolutely I agree with you. I, too, believe in personal responsibility. Period. Yet, I also see that both the republicans and the democrats are guilty of the spoon feeding and dumbing the population into “wanting” to be taken care of versus independence. It is sad to admit but most politicians with perhaps very few exceptions prefer a population that is quiet and passive. Active partcipants are more difficult to control.

  • Thanks for posting such a good comment TFB.
I totally agree with your assessment of politicians on both sides of the isle, thus the title of the post. It is a two front war, one that encompasses tackling accountability to the citizenry on the part of politicians, and lassitude on the part of the people. Both of which are weak mindsets that have been learned, and need to be retrained.
I am not trying to describe a life of greatness, only a life of self respect and selflessness.

  • This is the greatest thing I’ve read all day!! I’ve been looking for a good Republican, down home, take responsibility for yourself, get off your a__ kind of blog. I think I’ve found it!! I was actually just in the political blogging mood myself the other day. And I saw the greatest bumper sticker the other day – P__ off a liberal – work hard and be happy!! I thought it was pretty funny.

  • Thanks Kate I really enjoy these kinds of comments.
We’re here and we’re not going anywhere so please stop by frequently! Having just said that…. It really doesn’t matter to me who isn’t using their heads I am still going to write about it. It just seems to me that in more cases than not it is the Democrats who keep screwing up America. So yeah, I like the bumper sticker you mentioned, let’s keep pissing them off, what do you say?

This sounds pretty great to me. :)

  • Yeah I guess it does. Now if we can get the other 329,999,998 Americans on board we would really have something here. It’s like a movie from sometime ago called “Pay it forward” some things can only happen in Hollywood though and that is unfortunate.
